Digest #3: A photo entry, or: I need to stop saying "pardon".

I'm mostly just posting some photos. If you click on the actual picture you will be able to view it full size.

Here is Katie and Katherine's room. I feel like this room needs a name since there is a definite theme to it. I haven't thought of anything so perhaps I'm not the one to do it. It is a very cool room though. It has these huge bay windows with giant shutters.

These are houses directly across the street from our house. They are all built essentially the same way, most with the same door (a picture of which I will post momentarily). Houses are close to one another for the most part. Actually, come to think of it I haven't really seen any houses with much space between, in front of, or behind them. I feel like I should be annoyed by lack of space, but so far ot yet. The green house in the middle there as an amazing bright purple door that you can't really see in this photo. There is another house with a bright yellow door that is just fantastic.

Here's our floor. Apparently the mosaic is pretty old. I tried taking a picture of the entire pattern but it ended up just being incredibly blurry. It is also a really cool edition to the house.

Here's our door. I must admit that this is a pretty boring picture of our front door, as the door itself is very nice. Oh well.

Here's just a view of our avenue as we were on our way to Camden Town to go to Fresh & Wild (which is Whole Food's branch in the UK). That trip ended up being a bit annoying (nutritional/brewer's yeast cost me almost £10/$20)

These next pictures, sadly, were taken with my mobile phone. Quality wise they are not terribly good, but they are pictures of where I was yesterday.

Here is Big Ben. And they are not lying when they call it 'Big', because it's huge. And loud. And practically covered in tourists. I'm sure if people could they would crawl all over it like flies on a piece of fruit. I felt dumb taking a picture of it, because if there is one thing I like to avoid, it's looking like a tourist.

Bob Johnstone as Winston Churchill in front of the statue of Winston Churchill. If I were making a movie about Winston Churchill, I would cast Bob Johnstone.

Trafalgar Square during Russian Festival yesterday. I wandered around while people ate lunch.

Pictures people drew when they were inspired at the National Portrait Gallery. This was in the 'Fancy Faces' gallery, I don't remember the artist though.

(Do you know you have it set up so that only "members" can comment? It wasn't a big deal to get some sort of account, but just to let you know!!)
