Digest #1: An introduction of sorts, or: The hiccups just won't stop

Hey everyone,

I don't really feel I need to introduce myself. My rationale for that is if you're reading this, it's most likely because I know you and told you about my semester abroad blog/journal/what have you. Needless to say, I'm going to attempt to update this often while I'm in London. I won't be leaving for another 10-ish days, so I doubt I will update until I actually arrive. But who knows? Maybe something pressing will need to be written about (note the sarcasm there). Before I head out, I will be visiting Earlham for about a day and a half to move the rest of my stuf out of Beit Kehillah and picking up Rebecca.

In the mean time, it would be a lie to say that I'm not excited about going: I've grown terribly restless waiting to be there. I've already contacted the synagogue I'll be attending, I've been in contact with my host family, researched vegan restaurants and organic markets/co-ops, my internship is already established (and near the synagogue no less) and have become diligent in my study of the tube map. This winter break has served as kind of a additional crash course in London life.

There isn't much else to say. So until then.
